We are Bret and Liz Pierce. We have 2 daughters Laura (7) and Allie (3). We are 3rd and 4th generation famers and we farm with Bret parents Rod and Julie Pierce NW of Woodward, IA. I was raised on a beef and crop farm South of Jefferson.
We both grew up with farming in our blood. Bret driving tractors since he was just little and myself feeding cattle with Dad and riding fences from the time I could get myself on my pony.
We have a deep appreciation for the land and the animals.
We raise corn, soybeans, alfalfa, rye, cattle and yellow labs. We also have some chickens that the girls sell eggs for so extra spending money 😊
On our farms we implement no-till, strip till, and many other reduced tillage methods. Cover crops are applied every year to our fields and we see so many benefits. Soil and water health and also an additional crop for the cattle to graze in the winter.
We want to share the experience of the farm with as many as possible, so if you have a desire to see what goes on, please give us a call and stop on out, we’d love to see you.
Soil and water health are top priority on our farm.
Angus with a few Angus/Hereford cross cows. High choice and prime.
You're welcome to visit the farm to see and learn what we do.
We do the very best on our farm to provide the best beef possible.
